ZACH HAULMAN - PT, DPT
Orthopedic Clinical Specialist

Dr. Zach Haulman is an Altoona native and the owner of Haulman Physical Therapy, which opened in 2018. Zach attended the University of Pittsburgh where he played football and completed his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science.

 

He continued his education at Sage Graduate School in Troy, NY where he earned his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. Zach then went on to earn his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Certification at a post-graduate residency program. He opened his own one-on-one physical therapy clinic located inside of Dormans Sports Performance. Here, he utilizes DSP’s top of the line facilities to treat any orthopedic and sports injuries.

His goal is to change the current model of physical therapy by having people choose to take an active role in their recovery from injury as well as promoting health and wellness alongside Dorman's Sports Performance, where they encourage all levels of fitness to pursue an active lifestyle. 

Zach currently resides in Altoona, PA with his wife Allison and two children: Callan and Delaney.

TAYLOR EDMISTON - PT, DPT

Dr. Taylor Edmiston is a 2010 graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training and a 2014 Graduate of Shenandoah University with a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. She has background and experience working in Orthopedics, Pediatrics and most recently, women’s health issues including pregnancy and postpartum care.


Her mission is to increase access to pelvic health education and empower women to seek the care and guidance they need to decrease pain, dysfunction, and promote maximum health.


She currently resides in Altoona, PA with her husband, two young daughters, and son.

BRENT DODSON - PT, DPT
Neurologic Clinical Specialist

Dr. Brent Dodson is an Altoona native and graduate from Altoona Area High School. He received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Saint Francis University with a minor in Neuroscience. He continued his education at Saint Francis University where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. In 2019, he became a Board Certified Neurological Clinical Specialist

 

Brent has over 13 years of experience in the field of Physical Therapy. He has worked in the acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatient settings treating a wide array of diagnoses. He is also an adjunct professor at Saint Francis University.

 

Brent’s goal is to provide exceptional care to all patients while increasing specialized neurological physical therapy care to those in need.

 

Brent resides in Altoona with his wife Britney, and two children: Grayson and Myah.

SHELBY MADDEN, PTA

Shelby Madden is a 2007 graduate of the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program at Mount Aloysius College. Over the past 15 years she has traveled and worked as a PTA in Chicago, Los Angeles, Rockville, and Bethesda, before moving back home to Hollidaysburg PA where she currently resides.

 

She has experience in all clinical settings including skilled nursing, home health, outpatient, and most recently, women’s health. Shelby is a mom to three little ones; through her motherhood journey, she has found passion within the maintenance and rehabilitation of the core and in improving health and wellness.

 

Her goal is to help women gain the knowledge to decrease pain, maintain strength, and maximize overall health during the prenatal and postnatal periods. She is working towards her certification as a prenatal and postpartum fitness trainer.
